For 75 years, Lodz University of Technology has maintained the tradition of engineering education. More than 100 thousand highly educated graduates are a result of the efforts of several generations of highly qualified academic staff - academic teachers, researchers, scientists, and efficient university administration. In 2016, the University was awarded, as the first technical university in Poland, the HR EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH badge, which acknowledged the fact that the University adheres to the principles laid down in The European Charter for Researchers and The Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The benefit of this badge is improved recognizability and perceived attractiveness of the University as a project partner in the European Research Area.
