We created a procedure that predicts in the lab how many years a given plaster will withstand real-world conditions before algae and fungi appear.

Assistant professor in the Department of Molecular Engineering of the Faculty of Process and Environmental Engineering, TUL (K94).
Specialist in the field of industrial wastewater treatment (advanced oxidation, ozonation, electro-processes, coagulation); specialist in chemical treatment of textiles; leader of a research team; specialist in industrial implementation.
In 2017 Lucyna Bilińska obtained the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the discipline of environmental engineering. She obtained her M.Sc. degree in 2008 in the discipline of textile science (chemical engineering).
Since 2008 she has been employed in Zakład Włókienniczy Biliński sp.j., since 2014 she has been the Head of the Research and Development Department in this company. She has worked as a member of a research team, project manager, as well as author, reviewer, editor in scientific publications.
Project Manager of TEX-WATER-REC project Modern wastewater treatment with plasma-prepared catalyst for textile wastewater recycling. Project financed from the Norwegian funds under the Small Grant Scheme.
Winner of the Scholarship of the Minister of Education and Science for an outstanding young scientist for significant achievements in scientific activities in 2021 (16th edition).
She also serves as vice president in the Association of Polish Colour Chemists.

Using the knowledge of scientists and the specialised equipment at TUL, we can have a real impact on improving the state of the natural environment. A good example of such activities is the research conducted under the TEX-WATER-REC project.
