Lodz University of Technology has joined the UN-supported initiative "Race to Zero". This global campaign brings together enterprises, cities, as well as institutions from the education, finance and healthcare sectors, whose common goal is to create and implement transparent action plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in accordance with the Paris Agreement.
The development of virtual reality is gaining momentum every year. Although eighty years have passed since the creation of the first project which set the course for further activities in the field of immersive solutions, the topic of VR is still shrouded in mystery for many people. Before we start an adventure with virtual reality, it is advisable to know its definition, which was developed by the creator of the term virtual reality (VR).
The use of UV/VIS light enables a non-invasive assessment of the cardiovascular condition. The proposal of scientists from Lodz University of Technology and Jagiellonian University is based on the measurement of fluorescence NADH — FMSF (flow mediated skin fluorescence).
